Myanmar Saing -Waing (Myanmar Traditional Orchestra)

Myanmar Saing-Waing (Myanmar Music Ensemble) is the typical instrument among other musical instruments in the world. It had emerged since Innwa period. In Kongbaung period, it was decorated with the glass mosaic embedded in gilding to be glorious in Ratanabon period. Long ago, Myanmar Saing - Waing was called as “Part-Saing”. Now, it was called as “Saing -Waing” owing to binding “saing” and the eight floral designed panels.
